Last updated: April 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Scroll - Daily Microlearning handles your personal data. We've tried to keep it short, plain, and honest.
- 01
Who we are
Scroll - Daily Microlearning is operated by SyncLabs ("we", "us", "our"). If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact us at synclabsupport@gmail.com.
We aim to respond to all privacy-related requests within 30 days.
- 02
What data we collect
We collect the following personal data:
- Email address and name (when you create an account)
- Sign-in method (email, Google, or Apple)
- Learning progress, saved lessons, streaks, and achievements
- Purchase history (subscriptions and content packs)
- Device type and operating system (for app functionality)
We do not collect precise location data, contacts, or any data unrelated to the app's core functionality.
- 03
Why we collect it and our legal basis
We collect this data solely to provide the app's core features: your account, personalised learning progress, and access to purchased content.
The legal basis for processing is performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR) — we need this data to deliver the service you signed up for.
- 04
Third parties we share data with
We share data only with the following third-party services, which are necessary to operate Scroll:
- RevenueCat — manages in-app purchases and subscriptions
- Apple / Google — if you use social sign-in
- Supabase — secure account and data storage
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party.
- 05
International data transfers
Some of our third-party service providers (including RevenueCat and Supabase) are based in the United States. When your data is transferred outside the UK, we ensure it is protected by appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). For more information on these safeguards, contact us at synclabsupport@gmail.com.
- 06
How long we keep your data
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or request deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance reasons (such as purchase records).
To request deletion, email synclabsupport@gmail.com.
- 07
Account deletion
You can delete your account at any time directly within the app by going to Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Deleting your account permanently removes all your personal data, learning progress, and account information from our systems. This action is irreversible.
If you prefer, you can also request deletion by emailing synclabsupport@gmail.com. We will process the request within 30 days.
- 08
